About this document

Exercise Tolerance and Physiological Responses by Marcos Cavalcante is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the variability in exercise tolerance and physiological responses when exercise is prescribed using physiological thresholds (THR) versus traditional intensity anchors (TRAD). Results indicate that using THR reduces variability in exercise tolerance and acute metabolic responses, particularly at higher intensities, compared to TRAD. The findings suggest that prescribing exercise intensity based on physiological thresholds may enhance the precision of exercise prescriptions.
