What is Bound for Boothill (Dales Western) about?

As Bert Cave came away from Boothill he swore vengeance on the cowmen of Faro Creek who had wrongly convicted and hanged his father for cattle stealing. The Cave property had been seized and Bert's one true friend, Miriam Grosvenor, gave him weapons, bedroll and food, together with her prized horse. Befriended by a member of the Bryer gang, he had just been initiated into the gang when he was captured by ranchers who promised him hang-rope justice. How could Bert save himself? Did anyone care? Could justice ever be done?
