This study investigates the perceptions of critical thinking among Algerian EFL teachers and the strategies they use to integrate it into their teaching. Findings reveal that while teachers understand critical thinking, they often lack support for its implementation, focusing instead on subject matter comprehension. The research highlights the need for professional development programs to enhance critical thinking in English language education.
