About this document
Community Effort: Sewing Masks in Arizona by Tanner Murphy is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Two women, Mimi Henley and Elin Kentnor, began sewing cloth masks in their garage workshop to donate during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have produced close to 4,000 masks, which they have distributed to organizations and individuals across Arizona and beyond. With donations of materials and funds, they make at least 50 masks per day. Their masks feature filters made of the same material as N95 masks and have been given to hospitals, homeless shelters, social workers and others in need.
