What is The Loser in the End: A Mother about?

The song is about a mother whose son has just left home. She feels like she will be the "loser in the end" after raising him for 20 years and only getting a goodbye in return. She warns other mothers that their children may forget them as they get older and choose their own lives over their mother. The mother is left with only regret and tears after her son leaves.
