About this document
Mechanical Properties of Human Gallbladder by azize hosseinjany is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This article measures the mechanical properties of human gallbladder tissue under tensile loading. Sixteen male gallbladders were excised and subjected to axial and transverse tensile testing. The axial elastic modulus was 641.20 kPa on average, significantly higher than the transverse elastic modulus of 255 kPa. Maximum stresses were 1240 kPa and 348 kPa for axial and transverse loading respectively. This provides data on the mechanical properties of human gallbladder tissue.
