About this document

Specific Gravity of Polypropylene Fiber by mudasar205 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigated the effect of polypropylene (PP) fibers on the fresh and hardened properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) at elevated temperatures. The researchers created SCC mixtures with 0%, 0.05%, 0.10%, and 0.15% PP fiber content by volume and tested compressive strength after exposure to 200°C, 400°C, and 600°C for 2 and 4 hours. Results showed that 0.05% and 0.10% PP fiber content prevented spalling of SCC samples at elevated temperatures while maintaining residual compressive strength.
