Fifty patients diagnosed with secondary amyloidosis after renal biopsy between 1994-2010 were included in this study. Patient data such as age, sex, serum creatinine and proteinuria levels were collected retrospectively. Renal biopsies were classified based on amyloid involvement of the glomerular or tubular-interstitial compartments, including factors like glomerular sclerosis, tubular atrophy, inflammation, and amyloid deposition in different areas.
