The document describes a study that synthesized manganese oxide (Mn2O3) nanoparticles using a high frequency induction system. Aerosol droplets of manganese nitrate solutions were generated using ultrasonic spraying and decomposed in an induction reactor to produce Mn2O3 nanoparticles. Characterization with SEM and XRD showed nanoparticles between 90-200 nm were produced from a 0.01M manganese nitrate solution at 1073K. The effect of precursor concentration on nanoparticle size and purity was investigated.
