What is An Overview of Theoretical Dynamics of Air Pollution about?
Air pollution maybe outdoor or indoor. In this chapter the scope is on the outdoor air pollution. Outdoor air pollution can be natural or man-made/artificial. Both kind of pollution sources have its hazards to life-forms. Most natural air pollutions are connected to gas emission from volcanic eruption, dust storm (Sahara Desert in the West Africa region), particulate matter (PM) carried by wind, industries (see Figs. 3.1 and 3.2) etc. Therefore, modelling outdoor air pollution is somewhat difficult because it is not a closed system. A closed system is a system where the component parameters can be controlled or determined at each step of the experiment. In a close system, physical laws are mostly obeyed since the input parameter and the output parameter in the exchanging environment is known. Outdoor air pollution is an open system. Hence many factors like sourceemissions, wind transport, meteorology, relative pollution speed, atmospheric concentrations, rate of particulate-coagulation, deposition, lifetime of particulates, type of anthropogenic pollution are considered in its model formulation. Also, many mathematical assumptions are propounded so that some physical laws can be ap
