What is CSIR New Fellowship Management System about?

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) is implementing a New Fellowship Management System (NewFMS) to automate fellowship management processes with various modules including institutional registration and online attendance certification. This system aims to minimize manual interventions for research scholars and facilitate online transactions such as applying for extensions and submitting requests. Institutes hosting CSIR research fellows must register on the new portal to access the system
