What is Art 2 about?

This study analyzed compounds in a polyherbal preparation called Soleshine used to treat dermatophytosis. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry identified 20 compounds, with 3,7-dimethyl-2,6-octadienal and 2-pentene-2-methyl as major constituents. Molecular docking showed these two compounds strongly bound to enzymes involved in fungal cell wall synthesis and other processes, suggesting they have good antifungal activity. The compounds were also found to have appropriate properties for drug development.
