What is Impact of Noise on Hearing Loss in Workers about?

Mechanical turner workers are exposed to prolonged noise over 80 dB in their work. A study examined 30 mechanical turner workers aged 25-59 who were exposed to over 85 dB of noise for 6-8 hours per day to determine the prevalence of chronic acoustic trauma and tinnitus and the effects on quality of life. The results showed that chronic acoustic trauma did not significantly correlate with reports of tinnitus, though tinnitus did significantly impact quality of life by affecting social and family environments
