The CimatronE SDK consists of the CimatronE API which allows external programs to interact with CimatronE. The API provides object-oriented capabilities for document management, modeling, assembly features, entity retrieval, attributes, commands, and more. To use the API in Visual Basic, add references to the CimatronE type libraries, then get an IApplication interface either from an existing CimatronE instance or by creating a new Application object.
