What is Comparing VARI, GLI, and VIgreen Formulas about?

This paper evaluates the effectiveness of three vegetation index formulas—VARI, GLI, and VIgreen—using aerial images captured by drones to enhance vegetation monitoring. The study compares the accuracy of these formulas in detecting vegetation and highlights significant differences in their results, particularly with VARI showing greater variability in values. The findings aim to assist utility industries in efficiently managing vegetation encroachment in power transmission corridors.
