What is DVHS Deworming Campaign Success about?

The DVHS strengthens efforts to eliminate parasitism in students by conducting deworming activities led by the school nurse. During the deworming activity in July 2019, students from Grade 7 to 10 and school staff received anti-helminthic drugs to control soil-transmitted helminth infection. The school ensures all students and personnel take the medicine during National Deworming Month to increase coverage of the DOH campaign, which aims to distribute drugs twice yearly to improve health.
