About this document
2024 Comparison of Multiplex PCR Capillary Electrophoresis Assay and PCR-reverse Dot Blot Assay For Human Papillomavirus DNA Genotyping Detection in Cervical Cancer Tissue Specimens by 8821140 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This research compares the effectiveness of two HPV DNA genotyping assays, the multiplex PCR capillary electrophoresis (MPCE) and PCR-reverse dot blot (PCR-RDB), in detecting HPV in cervical cancer tissue specimens. The study found that the MPCE assay had a higher positivity rate (97.9%) compared to the PCR-RDB assay (92.9%) and suggested that MPCE could improve screening efficiency for cervical cancer. The findings indicate that MPCE may be more suitable for early detection and diagnosis of cervical cancer
