The energy transfer in irradiated dielectric thin film structures with CdS and CdSe nanocrystals by Olga Goncharova; Vladimir Kalinov; Alexander Voitovich is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.
What is The energy transfer in irradiated dielectric thin film structures with CdS and CdSe nanocrystals about?
First results of the development of periodic nanocrystalline dielectric structures and the ones with CdS and CdSe nanocrystals for the elaboration of integrable light-emitting elements with ultrabroadband angle-tunable spectra in the spectral region 490 -700 nm, radiation detectors and energy transformers are summarized. The space ordering of the emitting defects and their luminescent e ciency in such elements were technologically controlled by the arranging of dielectric and semiconductor nanocrystals in preformed thin-ÿlm structures and by the post-growth irradiation. The modiÿcation of room temperature emission spectra of -irradiated periodic thin ÿlm structures consisting of nanometer-sized LiF and CaF2 crystals is investigated. The results are compared with those of LiF and CaF2 ÿlms with the same size of nanocrystals and those of crystals with various contents of OH -and oxygen-ions after the same irradiation dose. Increase of F + 3 -colour centres luminescence of LiF nanocrystals and amplitude of absorption saturation of CdS and CdSe nanocrystals was detected. Possible reasons of the e ects are discussed.
