What is 2025 Dearness Allowance Revision Notice about?
The Government of India has announced a revision of the Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees, increasing it from 53% to 55% of Basic Pay effective January 1, 2025. This adjustment will also apply to civilian employees paid from Defence Services Estimates, with separate orders for Armed Forces personnel and Railway employees. Payment of arrears will not occur before the salary disbursement in March 2025.
