About this document
Cow Manure Nitrogen for Duckweed Growth by Md Rasheduzzaman Khan Dipu is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study compared the use of fresh manure and biodigester effluent from cows and pigs as fertilizer for growing duckweed. The results showed that duckweed grown with biodigester effluent had higher protein content than with fresh manure. Effluent from pigs also supported higher protein levels in duckweed than effluent from cows. The optimum nitrogen level in the water for maximum duckweed growth and protein content was between 20-30 mg/L.
