Can I read Four glycosidases secreted by Collectotrichum lindemuthianum on EtoBox?
Four glycosidases secreted by Collectotrichum lindemuthianum by K. Keegstra; P.D. English; P. Albersheim is a Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Four glycosidases secreted by Collectotrichum lindemuthianum about?
The fungal plant pathogen, Collectotrichum lindemuthianum, was grown in culture with either galactose, arabinose. or pectin as the carbon source resulting in the selective secretion of a-galactosidase, a-arabinofuranosidase and exopolygalacturonase, respectively. Each enzyme has been puri6ed by ion exchange and gel permeation chromatography. In addition, a ~glucosidase was purified from the culture filtrate or arabinose grown fungus. The purified a-galactosidase and a-arabinosidase preparations were found to be essentially free of other carbohydrases while the j3-glucosidase and exopolygalacturonase preparations contain contaminating activities.
