The TotGuard system uses RFID technology to track and protect newborn infants by attaching small, disposable tags to infants. Tag readers installed at exit points work with tag exciters to control door locks and generate alerts when an infant tag is detected near a door, helping to secure the perimeter. The system provides location tracking of infants as well as tamper detection to ensure infant safety and support hospital security procedures.
