What is Faisal Masjid: Architecture and History about?

The Shah Faisal Masjid is the largest mosque in Pakistan, located in Islamabad. It was designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay to resemble a Bedouin desert tent supported by four large minarets. King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia financed much of the construction. The interior features marble decorations and mosaics. It can hold up to 300,000 people and remains an important national and architectural landmark.
