What is Vitamin D and Knee Osteoarthritis Study about?

This study investigated the relationship between vitamin D levels and severity of knee osteoarthritis in Kuwaiti patients. 99 patients with knee osteoarthritis had their vitamin D levels, radiological findings, and functional status assessed. The mean vitamin D level was very low and most patients were deficient. However, vitamin D levels did not correlate significantly with radiological severity or functional status in these patients.
