The study fabricated NiFe2O4 nanoparticles loaded on activated carbon as novel composites for photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes in water under UV light. The NiFe2O4 particles were evenly distributed on the activated carbon nanosheets. Testing showed the 10% NiFe2O4/activated carbon composite had the highest degradation efficiency for methylene blue and Reactive red 120 dyes under visible light, demonstrating its potential for water treatment applications.
