What is Dental Light Curing Units Study KSA about?

This study aimed to determine the types of light curing units (LCUs) and their intensity output in private dental clinics in Saudi Arabia. The researchers evaluated a total of 400 LCUs from 58 private dental clinics using a digital radiometer. They found that 354 units were LED-based and 46 were halogen-based. The average light intensity output of LED units was higher than halogen units. Intensity outputs below 300 mW/cm2 for halogen units and below 600 mW/cm2 for LED units were considered unsatisfactory.
