About this document
PRP Effectiveness for Lateral Epicondylitis by Luis Briones Lau.Li is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for treating lateral epicondylitis, using minimal clinically important difference (MCID) values as a benchmark. The analysis of 26 studies indicates significant improvement in patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) following PRP treatment, with both leukocyte-rich and leukocyte-poor PRP showing effectiveness in exceeding MCID thresholds. The findings suggest that PRP is a viable treatment option
