This study analyzed the effect of perinatal exposure to antiretroviral drugs on hematologic values in HIV-uninfected children born to HIV-infected mothers. The study compared hematologic parameters in 1820 children exposed to antiretrovirals to 351 unexposed children from birth to 24 months of age.
