This study investigates the attitudes of male and female Senior High School students toward English vocabulary mastery in speaking. Results indicate that most male and nearly all female students have a positive attitude, influenced by factors such as pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary knowledge, and social support. The study emphasizes the importance of these attitudes in improving English speaking skills and suggests further research on this topic using different methodologies.
