Can I read Phonon Bound States in the Mixed Valence Systems of Rare-earth Compounds on EtoBox?
Phonon Bound States in the Mixed Valence Systems of Rare-earth Compounds by Hisao Jichu; Kyuya Baba; Tamifusa Matsuura; Yoshihiro Kuroda; A.D.S. Nagi is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Phonon Bound States in the Mixed Valence Systems of Rare-earth Compounds about?
We show the possibility of the formation of two-phonon bound states which give rise to a localized phonon mode like the one discovered recently in the compound Sm0.75Y0.25 S. A crucial point in our model is to take account of an indirect two-phonon interaction due to local lattice-distortions around localized electrons interacting over nearest neighbor sites.
Who reads Phonon Bound States in the Mixed Valence Systems of Rare-earth Compounds?
It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Physics and Astronomy.
