This study examined the use of Math Talk, an inquiry-based strategy, for teaching 7th grade mathematics at Camarin National High School during the 2018-2019 school year. Two sections of 7th graders were divided into a non-Math talk group and a Math talk group. The study analyzed pre-test and post-test results from both groups to determine if Math talk improved student outcomes using t-test analysis.
