What is Instructive moments with the Savior : learning to hear about?

Ken Gire takes a warm and intimate look at the parables of Jesus, in this third book in his Moments with the Savior series of devotionals.

Instructive Moments with the Savior invites you to stand among the crowds gathering on the shores of Galilee to hear a controversial, miracle-working Jewish preacher: Jesus of Nazareth. From the fishing boat in which he stands, he begins: "He who has ears to hear, let him hear . . ." And the words that follow are like none you've ever heard. All over Palestine his simples stories and tales — his parables — have changed lives: Pharisees, prostitutes, tax-collectors, his own followers, and all the poor and dispirited of Palestine. Come, sit at the table with the Pharisee and hear Jesus tell the story of two men who borrowed money from a money-lender. Mingle with the lawyers and ponder what Jesus means when he tells them about a Samaritan who comes to the aid of an injured man on the roadside. Pray in the temple between the publican and the Pharisee as each of them prays to God. Instructive Moments with the Savior brings freshness and renewed insight to the parables of Jesus. It is ideal reading for morning or night or whenever you need to
