What is Green Synthesized Nanomaterials for Drug Delivery about?
Drug-delivery systems (DDSs) are very widely studied currently. The proliferation of the drug-delivery system has taken place to improve the effectiveness and administration of various pharmaceutical complexes, such as drugs, vaccines, antibodies, enzymes, peptides, proteins, etc. (Anselmo & Mitragotri, 2014). There is an urgent need to develop advanced DDSs associated with conventional DDSs, such as variations in plasma drug level, lack of bioavailability, intolerance or instability, and partial effectiveness (Hans & Lowman, 2002;Kumar et al., 2017). The drug-delivery system has been developed to avoid rapid degradation and to attain targeted delivery. The drug-delivery system was developed between the 1950s and 1980s. The second generation of DDSs came about between the 1980s and 2010s, and was mainly focused on green nanotechnology (Park, 2014). Both physiochemical-like drug release and biological-like drug delivery at specific site obstacles have been removed thanks to the advanced third generation. Taniguchi first used the term nanotechnology in 1974. However, again, Richard Feynman, in December 1959 had laid out his well-known lecture "There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom" in
