What is Emily Dickinson about?

The poem describes a "Republic of Delight", which is a summer morning. All of nature is joyfully celebrating - the birds are dancing, the bees are playing. The sun is so happy that it cannot choose where to spend its holiday and runs miles away. The speaker imagines that if people from "Heavy laden Lands" had to cross seas to reach this delightful place, the seas would be crowded with travelers. However, the republic is too close for its beauty and joy to be famous.
