What is Calorimetric Studies on the Strontium–uranium–oxygen System about?
Enthalpy increment measurements on Sr 3 U 11 O 36 (s) and Sr 3 U 2 O 9 (s) were carried out using a Calvet micro-calorimeter. The enthalpy increment values were least squares analyzed with the constraints that H 0 T À H 0 (298.15 K) at 298.15 K equals zero and C 0 pYm (298.15 K) equals 1064.2 and 301.8 J K À1 mol À1 for Sr 3 U 11 O 36 (s) and Sr 3 U 2 O 9 (s), respectively. The dependence of enthalpy increments with temperature can be given as Thermodynamic functions for Sr 3 U 11 O 36 (s) and Sr 3 U 2 O 9 (s), have been generated using the D f H 0 m (298.15 K), D f G 0 m (T) and S 0 m (298.15 K) values, either calculated in this study or from the literature.
