The document configures a router and switch with VLANs 10-40 to segment traffic. The router is configured with hostnames, passwords, and IP addresses for each VLAN subnet. Remote access is enabled via SSH. The switch ports are assigned to VLANs and trunk ports defined. DHCP pools are configured on the router to assign IPs within each VLAN subnet range, excluding the router IP.
