This study evaluates the effectiveness of salmon GnRHa, Ovaprim®, and hCG for inducing spermiation in Fowler’s toads (Anaxyrus fowleri). Results indicate that while Ovaprim® improved sperm motility compared to sGnRHa alone, it and sGnRHa were less effective than hCG in terms of sperm production and quality. The findings suggest that hormone mixtures developed for fish may not be suitable for amphibian breeding programs.
