The report finds that overall levels of social hostilities involving religion declined slightly in 2013 after peaking in 2012, but government restrictions on religion remained about the same. Christians and Muslims faced harassment in over half of countries each, and harassment of Jews reached a seven-year high in 2013. The countries with the highest overall restrictions on religion were Burma, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan and Russia.
