The variations in flow stress at elevated temperature for Nb-20Ti-16Si-0.5Gd alloy are studied by thermal simulation experiment, in temperature ranging from 1050 to 1250 °C, at strain rate from 10−1 to 10−4 s−1 and the deformation degree of 30%. The results show that flow stress decreases with the increase of deformation temperature, on the contrary, increases with the increase of strain rate. The constitutive equation of the investigated alloy is derived through Arrhenius hyperbolic sine function, which fits accurately on the relationship between strain rate, stress and temperature.
