About this document
Acute Definitive Internal Fixation of Pe by Việt Dũng Lê is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study evaluates the safety and efficiency of acute definitive internal fixation (ORIF) of unstable pelvic ring fractures in polytrauma patients compared to staged surgery. Results indicate that acute ORIF can be performed safely within 6 hours, showing trends towards shorter hospital stays and lower transfusion rates without increased mortality. The findings suggest that acute ORIF may be a viable option for managing high-energy pelvic fractures in severely injured patients.
