This document provides a welding procedure specification (WPS) for re-welding tubes at Engro Polymer. The WPS specifies the base metal as tube with a thickness over 2.1mm and sheet thickness of 120mm made of A179 or SA-516 Gr. 70 steel. The filler metal is ER-70S-3 wire with a diameter of 1.6mm used in gas tungsten arc welding. Post weld heat treatment is not required. Argon shielding gas will be used at 99.90% purity.
