Big Bazaar is a large Indian chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores founded in 2001 by Kishore Biyani under his company Future Group. Big Bazaar houses over 250 stores across 120 Indian cities, making it one of the oldest and largest hypermarket chains in India. Pantaloons Retail (India) Limited was incorporated in 1987 and over the years expanded into garment manufacturing and retail, launching clothing brands and introducing large format lifestyle stores in India.
