Specimens made of ST-37 and ST-41 steel were coated with Ni-Cr or AlCrN coatings and immersed for 110 to 130 days. Testing included potentiodynamic polarization and scanning electron microscopy. The best corrosion rate was produced on ST-41 with Ni-Cr coating after 110 days of immersion.
