What is Steel Slag in Self-Compacting Concrete about?

This paper investigates the use of steel slag as a replacement aggregate in self-compacting concrete (SCC), demonstrating its applicability through various tests. The results indicate that steel slag can effectively replace natural aggregates, achieving a compressive strength of 60.70 MPa and a flexural strength of 8.61 MPa, thus meeting SCC requirements. The study concludes that steel slag contributes to environmentally friendly and sustainable concrete production.
