Well, here we are. Four years after the publication of SegaArcade Classics Vol. 1, the second volume has finally been released.To be honest, when I put out the first volume, I didn't really have anysolid plans for a second one. The first book HG101 did was on classicpoint-and-click adventure games, and covered the topic ascomprehensively as possible. With the move to a smaller format toallow for color printing and smoother editing, covering all of Sega'sarcade games wasn’t remotely possible, so I just stuck the "Vol. 1" atthe end of the book name to imply that this was only a selection of"Sega Arcade Classics", and not all of them. Then I began work onother projects. Of course, over this period I began receiving severalemails and questions at conventions asking "when is Sega ArcadeClassics Vol. 2 going to be released?" Eventually I realized I needed tofollow through and actually get it done!The topic of this book is basically "everything that could notfit in the first volume". This includes a number of early Sega arcadegames, starting from 1979 with Monaco GP, and going all the way upto the games published on the System 32 board.
