This study examines the impact of different clothing types on gait performance, focusing on haptic sensory input. Twelve healthy men performed gait tests while wearing half tights, a draped cloth, and tracksuit bottoms, revealing that the draped cloth improved gait speed and reduced missteps compared to the other clothing types. The findings suggest that skirt-like garments may enhance body orientation perception during movement more effectively than trouser-like clothing.
