Asad leaves his small rural hometown to pursue his education, parting from his cousin Sitara with whom he shares an unexpressed love. Asad succeeds in his career and moves abroad, but his marriage fails. He returns to his hometown to search for Sitara, learning she has passed away. However, he meets her daughter Tara, and they share an embrace, finding in each other the love that was lost.
