He was initially diagnosed with mild viral illness and mania, and prescribed diazepam. A mental health team corroborated the diagnosis and prescribed quetiapine and decreased his diazepam. He later presented with worsening manic symptoms and refused increased medications. The referring doctor asks you to assess the patient.
