Ecological relationships pertain to interactions between organisms. There are two main types: symbiotic relationships, where organisms interact closely, and non-symbiotic relationships, where organisms compete for resources. Symbiotic relationships include mutualism, where both species benefit; commensalism, where one benefits and the other is unaffected; and parasitism, where one benefits and the other is harmed. Non-symbiotic relationships include predation, where one organism harms or eats the other; and
