Landsat-5 TM data will be radiometrically calibrated using a new procedure and revised calibration parameters. The new procedure for the reflective bands (1-5,7) is based on a lifetime radiometric calibration curve for the instrument. The thermal band will continue to be calibrated using the internal calibrator. Further updates to improve the relative detector-to-detector calibration and thermal band calibration are being investigated.
